MUMBAI: The customs department on Wednesday arrested a man for carrying undeclared gold worth Rs. 1.2 crore. Martoz Khan, who arrived at the Mumbai airport around 3 am, had flown from Bahrain and was intercepted at the green channel. Customs officials found 4.8 kg of gold in two electric kettles and a blanket.

P M Govande, customs commissioner Mumbai, told TOI, "We suspect that he is a carrier. Further investigations are on."
